Getting Around Nusa Lembongan

The island is small enough to explore by scooter, bicycle or the open-backed trucks that act as taxis. Fast boats from Sanur land on the beach at Jungutbatu or Mushroom Bay, so expect to wade through shallow water with your bags. Wear sandals you do not mind getting wet.

The Yellow Bridge crosses to Nusa Ceningan, where you can visit the Blue Lagoon and watch seaweed farmers at work. Nusa Penida is a 15-minute boat ride away and makes an easy day trip.

Diving and Snorkelling

Lembongan is one of Bali's best bases for diving. Manta rays can be seen year-round at Manta Point off Nusa Penida, and from roughly July to October divers sometimes spot the oceanic sunfish (mola mola). Currents can be strong, so dive and snorkel with experienced local operators.
